Toby Sykes, Ph.D., joined Essex Woodlands in 2007 from Cephalon Inc., where he was Director of Business Development. Soon after joining Cephalon Inc, he assisted the company in its acquisition of Zeneus Pharma for $370 million in December 2005. Prior to his tenure at Cephalon, Dr. Sykes held positions in Corporate Finance practices of Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen, where he worked on a number of European transactions in the Healthcare, Life Sciences and Private Equity sectors.
Dr. Sykes received a B.A. from Oxford University and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from King’s College London, U.K. |
